Hookah Hotspots
Blowing Off Steam

When walking into a hookah bar, the air is filled with smoke, music plays in the background and groups of people chat around a hookah. It is a place to relax and catch up with friends, but not all hookah bars are equal.

Horseshoe House
Upon entering Horseshoe House, someone may question if he or she is even at the right place. The empty bar doesn’t help, but if one trucks over to the corner and goes to the basement, the hookah bar awaits. This hookah lounge is spacious and calm. There is plenty of room to bring a group of friends and spend the next few hours chatting away while enjoying some hookah.
The workers take hookah orders before anyone sits down. Horseshoe House has a basic choice of flavors, easing the decision-making process. Try out the strawberry shisha. However, prices tend to run a bit higher here than other bars. This is something to think about when trying to save a buck.
When looking for a relaxing environment during a night out, Horseshoe House is the place to go.

Puzzles Hookah Lounge
At Puzzles Hookah Lounge, the bar is in the back with seating wrapped along the walls. On a Friday or Saturday night, the DJ booth is located behind the bar to provide entertainment. The feeling is lively with people dancing either outside of the building or in the extra space available inside.
The menu offers over 100 flavors and 10 custom mixes to choose from. Two shisha options to check out: Da Bomb Blueberry and Cuban Mojito. There are also supplemental hookah toys to play with at the bar, such as bubble makers and smoking with ice.
If one is looking for a loud, club-like dance scene, this is the perfect place.

Amp Pick
Out of these two joints, The Ampersand suggests visiting Puzzles. This environment has a party-like atmosphere away from school and stress. In addition, the variety of flavors will keep customers coming back for more.
